More than 120 senior citizens participated joyfully and enthusiastically in the 2nd Annual Golden Years Club Talent Show which was organized by Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences.
Participants demonstrated their talents in singing, reciting poetry, dancing and painting. This years’ theme was “Joy for Life”.
The finalists in the singing or reciting poetry category were La Poesía de Vivir, Cerezo Rosa and La Primavera. In the gymnastics or dance group the finalists were the teams Baile Can Can, El Huateque and Tabla Gimnástica and in the mural painting category La Alegría de Cuidar el Mar, Arbol de la Vida and Fotos y Recuerdos prevailed. All finalists were chosen by directors of Sunset World.
The public is invited to vote for the winners December 14, 2011 through January 11, 2012 on Sunset World’s Facebook page where videos of the participants can be viewed.
Prizes will be awarded on January 13, 2012 and include stays in ecotourism resort Hacienda Tres Ríos and the Royal Sunset hotel.
The members thanked Sunset World and the Golden Years Club for providing them with a place to find companionship, friendship and fun that motivates them to fully enjoy this wonderful phase of their lives.
